Job summary

FastTrack Staffing is seeking an SMT Operator to handle equipment for surface mount technology circuits and perform small-scale assembly of internal components and wiring. You will inspect products and regularly use computers to support hand placement of SMT components in accordance with customer specifications.

Responsibilities include performing hand placement with BOM guidance, interpreting datasheets for polarity, conducting pre- and post-reflow inspections, and logging any part errors or

Qualifications

• SMT experience preferred but not required.
• Good eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to perform repetitive actions.
• Computer competencies.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Execute hand placement and verification of components using BOM to ensure quality standards.
• Interpret datasheets and assembly docs to determine polarity information.
• Perform pre‑reflow and post‑reflow inspections on SMT components per BOM and docs.
• Report part errors, discrepancies and questions into the database.
