Job summary

Biztech Inc. is seeking an SMT Machine Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team in New Jersey.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience setting up and operating SMT equipment and can work with solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens. Responsibilities include loading components, verifying programs, monitoring equipment, performing inspections, and maintaining production records.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year SMT machine setup and operation experience.
Familiarity with pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, and reflow ovens.
Basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to follow written instructions and work independently.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate SMT equipment, including solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and inspection systems.
Load electronic components into feeders and magazines according to work orders.
Select and verify machine programs for each production run.
Monitor equipment to ensure efficient operation and quality production.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
Monitor reflow oven temperatures and soldering processes.
Maintain accurate production records and track material usage.
Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, safe work area.
Follow established safety procedures and ISO 9001 quality standards.
Assist with other production and assembly tasks as needed.
