Job summary

Apogee Engineering seeks a Systems Engineer II to support the SMPES Futures Team for NC3 and cyberspace mission needs. The role focuses on translating capabilities gaps into actionable requirements and coordinating governance for J56 and related efforts.

The position involves senior requirements integration, governance, and operational analysis with front-line engagement across stakeholders, including IROB Secretariat support and RRAB coordination. On-site at Offutt AFB, NE.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements management, governance, staffing, tracking or coordination processes.
• Strong knowledge of NC3, cyberspace, strategy, and command and control concepts.
• Familiarity with RRAB, Agile delivery, and Software Acquisition Pathway.

Responsibilities

• Analyze NC3, cyberspace, SMPES gaps to identify impacts, priorities, and risks.
• Translate operational needs into clear, traceable requirements and artifacts.
• Develop and track requirements products, assessments, and decision support materials.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align capability delivery with operational priorities.
• Facilitate working groups and meetings; prepare agendas, materials, and summaries.
• Maintain governance processes, templates, documentation, and traceability.
