Job summary

Apogee Engineering, LLC seeks an SMPES Futures Team Specialist (NC3 & Cyber) to support USSTRATCOM. The role focuses on requirements integration, governance, and operational analysis for SMPES with emphasis on NC3 and cyberspace mission needs. Location is Offutt AFB, NE, on-site.

The ideal candidate translates capability gaps into actionable requirements, supports governance boards, and provides senior-level analysis for leadership and mission partners.

Qualifications

• 5 years supporting the DoW.
• Strong knowledge across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of Agile software methodology and processes.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze NC3, cyberspace, SMPES, and related capability gaps to identify operational impacts, risks, and priorities.
• Translate operational needs into clear, feasible requirements and governance materials.
• Develop, revise, staff, and track requirements products and materials.
• Coordinate with users, managers, POs, developers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Facilitate working groups, prepare agendas, meeting summaries, and action trackers.
• Maintain and improve governance processes, templates, and traceability for SMPES.
