• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods, and to work well with computers.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun, friendly and engaging service to guests.
• Actively engage guests through Smokehouse samples and story-selling.
• Perform activities described in the Pit Master character performance.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department per standards.
• Handle product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as needed to meet standards.
• Maintain HACCP information logs as required.
• Perform light meat cutting duties as needed.
• Execute other duties assigned by management.
• Make PA announcements as required.

2. Actively engage guests through freshly prepared Smokehouse samples and story-selling
3. Perform activities outlined in the Pit Master character performance description
4. Operate the department according to strict merchandising and operational standards
5. Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards
6. Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards
7. Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards
8. Maintain HACCP required product information log sheets as necessary
9. Perform light meat cutting duties as needed
10. Perform all other duties as assigned by management
11. Perform PA announcements
