Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a personable team member for our Smokehouse department in Northern Kentucky. You will deliver fun, friendly service, engage guests with fresh Smokehouse samples, and tell stories that connect with shoppers while upholding our standards.

You should be comfortable performing in front of crowds, lifting up to 50 lbs, and collaborating with the deli/meat team. Training focuses on product prep, merchandising, safety, and HACCP compliance.

Qualifications

• Willingness to perform in front of large crowd and draw attention to the Smokehouse department.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks, simultaneously.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Previous meat cutting/trimming experience.
• Previous Culinary knowledge and/or background preferred.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of deli as well as meat department operations.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
