Job summary

Benevis is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our team. You will manage patient check-in/check-out, verify insurance, and maintain accurate records while delivering friendly, efficient service.

You’ll also assist with scheduling, recalls, and communication with families to ensure a smooth, positive patient experience. Ideal candidates have high school completion, office experience in healthcare, and comfort working with children’s dentistry.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a senior high school or GED equivalent.
• Office experience in a dentist's or physician's office, preferred.
• Experience with children's dentistry, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check-in and check-out patient flow and deliver quality customer service.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits.
• Greet parents and patients entering or leaving the office.
• Keep waiting area and front desk tidy and informed.
• Verify insurance prior to appointment and update Boomerang file.
• Coordinate with clinical team to allow same-day care when possible.
• Help meet office financial targets by keeping hygiene and operative schedules full.
• Schedule follow-up operatory and six-month recall appointments.
• Answer calls and route to proper contacts; take messages when needed.
• Ensure patient records are re-filed at day end and comply with regulations.
