Job summary

Benevis is seeking a Patient Coordinator to join our team. You’ll support patients and families at check-in/out, verify insurances, and ensure smooth daily operations in a pediatric-friendly dental office.

Key duties include managing schedules, communicating with clinical staff, and assisting in meeting financial targets while upholding compliance and exceptional patient care standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Office experience in a dentist or physician office preferred.
• Experience with children’s dentistry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and service limits.
• Greet parents and patients and inform them of appointment progress.
• Maintain a clean waiting area and front desk.
• Ensure patient files are ready and insurance details are accurate.
• Coordinate with clinical team to offer same-day care when possible.
• Help meet office financial targets by keeping hygiene and operative schedules full.
• Schedule follow-up operatory and recall appointments.
• Answer calls and direct callers appropriately, taking messages as needed.
• Make outbound calls to confirm or reschedule appointments and collect balances.
• Re-file patient records at day end and comply with regulations.
