Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Smile CDR Administrator to lead platform administration, configuration, and operations for our enterprise interoperability environment. You will manage Smile CDR, FHIR APIs, security, and data workflows across Development, Test, and Production.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in healthcare interoperability, deep Smile CDR experience, and strong skills in REST, OAuth 2.0, and SQL.

Qualifications

5+ years of healthcare interoperability experience.
3+ years administering or supporting Smile CDR.
Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR (R4).
REST APIs and OAuth 2.0 experience.
JSON/XML and healthcare data exchange expertise.
Experience with Linux and scripting.
Experience supporting production healthcare platforms.

Responsibilities

Administer and configure Smile CDR environments across Development, Test, and Production.
Manage Smile CDR modules, partitions, repositories, channels, security, and API configurations.
Support FHIR R4 repositories, SMART on FHIR, and interoperability implementations.
Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and capacity.
Troubleshoot platform, API, and data ingestion issues.
Configure and support REST APIs and integration endpoints.
Partner with architecture, engineering, and business teams on interoperability initiatives.
Support CMS, ONC, Prior Authorization, Patient Access, Provider Access, Payer-to-Payer, and BCBSA Interoperability programs.
Implement security controls, access management, audit logging, and compliance requirements.
Create operational runbooks, deployment procedures, and platform standards.
Coordinate vendor support activities when required and drive internal ownership of the platform.
