Job summary

Valle del Sol, Inc. is seeking an SMI Rehabilitation Specialist to provide psychiatric rehabilitation, vocational support, and skills-based services within a culturally responsive, trauma-informed care framework.

The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized ISPs, promote recovery, and support community integration for adults and families served by Valle del Sol. Strong documentation and care coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in behavioral health field or equivalent behavioral health experience.
• 1 year behavioral health experience if non-behavioral degree.
• 2 years behavioral health experience with an Associate degree.
• 4 years behavioral health experience with a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric rehabilitation assessments and identify rehabilitation goals.
• Identify members for vocational rehabilitation and coordinate referrals.
• Monitor participation across rehabilitation, employment, education, and community integration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate services.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
