Job Title: SMB Account Executive, Cyber Security & Data Privacy

Location: Remote - New York City, NY - US

Job Summary: The Account Executive role involves increasing product awareness and providing solutions for data privacy and risk management. Responsibilities include converting leads into new customers, expanding subscriptions, and guiding prospects through a solution-based sales process to achieve high-value transactions. Candidates should have a customer-first attitude, a proven sales record, and experience in data privacy or cybersecurity sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Manage inbound pipeline and convert into sales
  2. Generate qualified pipeline to meet monthly quotas
  3. Use sales methodologies like SPIN and MEDDPICC for discovery and forecasting
  4. Negotiate pricing and contractual terms
  5. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for legal, security, and compliance requirements
  6. Maintain disciplined activity cadence and conduct weekly pipeline reviews using Salesforce
  7. Participate in Deal Desk and pre-call planning meetings
  8. Partner cross-functionally for smooth sales transitions
  9. Activate existing customers for referrals and expansion
  10. Engage in sales training and system integration

Job Requirements:

  • Reside in New York City, NY area
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security and Data Privacy
  • 3+ years selling to senior security executives (CISO, CIO)
  • Experience with sales methodologies and deal qualification
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Competitive, adaptable, coachable, and comfortable in a fast-growth environment
