Duties

• Conduct privacy and cybersecurity due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions
• Draft and negotiate data-related terms in transaction documents (e.g., NDAs, purchase agreements, data processing agreements, transition service agreements)
• Advise on privacy compliance programs and internal governance frameworks
• Prepare and review commercial agreements involving data sharing, service provision, and customer relationships
• Interpret U.S. and global data protection laws, including CCPA, GDPR, GLBA, CAN-SPAM, and TCPA
• Monitor data breach notification laws and guide clients through response strategies

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in data privacy and cybersecurity matters
• Experience with technology-related transactional and compliance work
