Capstone Career Site in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Automation Engineer to support deployment, integration, and optimization of warehouse automation systems. This role collaborates with operations, IT, maintenance, and external vendors to ensure systems operate safely, reliably, and in alignment with business requirements.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in warehouse or logistics, with hands-on experience in automated material handling and robotics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
3–5 years in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
Hands-on experience with automated material handling, robotics, or warehouse automation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end implementation of warehouse automation systems, including installation, testing, commissioning, and stabilization.
Provide technical support for integration with WMS, WCS, and WES platforms to ensure reliable performance and data flow.
Troubleshoot automation system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
Monitor automation KPIs such as throughput, uptime, and accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist in the development and maintenance of SOPs and training materials for site operators.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure system health and minimal downtime.
Participate in cross-functional project meetings and provide technical input to support timelines and budgets.
