Job summary

Capstone-Logistics,-LL is seeking an Automation Engineer to support deployment, integration, and optimization of warehouse automation systems. You will collaborate with operations, IT, maintenance, and vendors to ensure safe, reliable system operation aligned with business needs.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/industrial/electrical engineering background and 3–5 years in logistics environments, with hands-on experience in automated material handling, robotics, and WMS/WCS/WES interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting automated material handling, robotics, or warehouse automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end implementation of warehouse automation systems, including installation, testing, commissioning, and stabilization.
• Provide technical support for integration with WMS, WCS, and WES platforms to ensure reliable system performance and data flow.
• Troubleshoot automation system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Monitor automation KPIs such as throughput, uptime, and accuracy, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of SOPs and training materials for site operators.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal system health and minimal downtime.
• Participate in cross-functional project meetings and provide technical input to support timelines, budgets, and operational readiness.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field)

Masters degree preferred
