Job summary

Actalent in Woburn, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive data-driven improvements in machine performance and product output. You will collect and analyze production data, develop dashboards, and collaborate with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.

This role emphasizes continuous improvement, material flow optimization, and advancement of Industry 4.0 initiatives, with a focus on OEE and process stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial preferred).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with process improvement experience.
• Experience with manufacturing data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and report on data related to machine performance, process parameters, and product output.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate and improve material flow, setup reduction, machine utilization, and OEE.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to monitor process performance.
• Support manufacturing automation initiatives and machine connectivity projects.
• Utilize programming and data analysis tools to collect, organize, and analyze production data.
• Support implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies where appropriate.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to support and maintain compliance of the material testing laboratory to applicable certifications and standards.
