Job summary

Boston Centerless in Woburn, MA is seeking a Manufacturing Process and Systems Engineer to lead development and integration of destructive testing processes, and to drive automation where appropriate. You will train staff, support QA and audits, and maintain industry certifications while improving machine performance and process capability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial preferred.
Strong analytical and math skills for data analysis and optimization.
Excellent communication and leadership for cross-functional collaboration.
Experience with process improvement, SOPs, safety and training.
Familiarity with standard engineering concepts and practices in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Support process improvement on centerless grinding operations via data analysis.
Collect, analyze and report data on machine performance and product output.
Collaborate with maintenance and production to troubleshoot and implement corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and drive OEE improvements.
Develop dashboards and tools to monitor process performance and quality.
