Job summary

El Paso, Inc. is seeking an Alarm Security Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot security systems, cameras, and smart devices in residential and commercial environments.

The role requires problem-solving in hands-on field work and delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include integrating lighting control, thermostats, access control, and home networking; programming touch panels and mobile apps; and ensuring compatibility across smart home ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in low-voltage installation and service.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security alarm systems, surveillance cameras, smart devices, and A/V equipment.
• Integrate technologies such as lighting control, thermostats, access control, and home networking systems.
• Program control systems and user interfaces (e.g., touch panels, mobile apps, remotes).
• Ensure device compatibility and seamless communication across smart home ecosystems.
• Customize system setups to meet each client’s unique needs.
• Provide technical support and maintenance to clients post-installation.
• Maintain organized records of jobs, parts, and service calls.
