Job summary

ADT is seeking a field technician to install and support low-voltage systems (under 50V) in customer homes and businesses. You will ensure systems are installed, tested, and configured for reliable performance while delivering clear, customer-focused communication.

You’ll troubleshoot, educate customers, and maintain safety and neat workspaces. The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to work evenings or weekends, and independent problem-solving to build trust through quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; location may require additional licensing.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with computers and basic technical skills.
• Self-directed with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices per site plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections.
• Troubleshoot issues and flag defective materials.
• Educate customers on system features and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow safety protocols.
