Job summary

Vivint is seeking a Smart Home Sales Technician to join our field team across the United States. You will meet customers in homes, in retail settings and at events, consult on personalized smart home, security and automation solutions, and help customers select the right setup while building trust and closing sales.

You will install, service and troubleshoot Vivint smart home equipment, learn and use our products, and represent Vivint professionally.

Qualifications

Strong communication and customer service skills.
Sales mindset with ability to build trust, uncover needs and close sales.
Comfort learning and using smart home technology.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Ability to pass post‑offer background and licensing requirements as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

Meeting customers in homes, retail locations and events.
Recommending personalized smart home, security and automation solutions.
Generating leads, following up with prospects and closing sales.
Installing, servicing and troubleshooting Vivint smart home equipment.
Educating customers on how to use their system.
Representing Vivint professionally in the field, in retail environments and in the communities we serve.
