Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Smart Home Sales Technician to join our field team. You will meet customers in homes, retail locations and events to understand their needs and tailor smart home, security and automation solutions.

You’ll build trust, generate leads, and close sales while installing, servicing and supporting the system through ongoing service. A valid driver's license and customer-focused mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong communication and customer service skills.
• Sales experience in field service or related environment is a plus.
• Comfort learning and using smart home technology.
• Ability to pass post-offer background and licensing requirements as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers in homes, retail locations and events.
• Recommend personalized smart home, security and automation solutions.
• Generate leads, follow up with prospects and close sales.
• Install, service and troubleshoot Vivint smart home equipment.
• Educate customers on how to use their system.
• Represent Vivint professionally in the field, in retail environments and in the communities we serve.
