Job summary

Evergreen Residential is seeking a Community Maintenance Technician to support post renovation repairs, smart home troubleshooting, occupied maintenance, eviction checks, and move-in/move-out inspections in Raeford, North Carolina. The role requires proactive handling of maintenance tasks and strong communication with residents and management.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, reviewing KPI progress with the Head of Construction, and ensuring safety and timely completion of tasks

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of work experience in a related position with residential maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with resident management systems is required.
• HVAC certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install marketing yard signs and remove signs at occupancy.
• Complete minor post renovation repairs as needed.
• Install and troubleshoot smart home technology issues.
• Perform pre-move in inspections 72 hours before move-in.
• Conduct HOA violation checks.
• In person evictions/lockouts.
• Perform recurring occupancy checks.
• Coordinate and perform move out walks with residents.
• Schedule and complete occupied maintenance work orders.
• Review progress against KPI’s weekly with the Head of Construction.
• Communicate with residents in a timely and professional manner for any outstanding violations.
• Support make-ready and turn work, including punch lists and minor repairs.
• Upkeep of the community such as picking up trash, dog stations and power washing.
