Job summary

Associa is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at a managed property in West End, NC. You will perform preventive maintenance, carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure safe, well-maintained living spaces for residents.

Qualified candidates bring 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to use basic tools, operate ladders, drive between sites, and handle routine reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of directly related or closely related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and clients.
• Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, safety reporting, regulations.
• Familiarity with electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements.
• OSHA safety knowledge and compliance.
• State or local governmental safety requirements.
• Ability to provide own basic tools may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
• Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure the building is properly maintained.
• Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, walls, floors, gutters and drains.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.
