Job summary

Fitch Irick Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily properties well-maintained and safe for residents in Raeford, NC. The role involves routine upkeep, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

You will handle unit turnovers, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of general maintenance experience, strong attention to detail, and a proactive

Qualifications

At least 1 year of general maintenance experience is required.
Experience in property management is a plus.
EPA/CFC certification preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver’s License required.
Occasional travel between properties may be needed.

Responsibilities

Property care: upkeep of grounds, buildings and amenities with routine inspections.
Preventative maintenance to keep HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems running smoothly.
Timely repairs and responsive work order handling to minimize resident disruption.
Unit turnovers: clean, repair and prepare spaces for new residents.
Emergency response: handle urgent repairs and document incidents.
Compliance: ensure safety regulations and Fair Housing standards are met.
