ADT in Charleston, SC is seeking a field service installer for advanced low-voltage systems under 50V. You’ll work in customer homes, installing wiring, testing systems, and ensuring reliable operation with safety in mind.

You’ll troubleshoot, educate customers on features, and maintain a tidy workspace. A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills are required; willingness to work evenings/weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-first communication style.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices per site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.
