Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Field Operations Technician to install and service low‑voltage systems in customer homes and businesses across the Columbus area. You will test, configure, and verify systems for performance and reliability while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You’ll work hands‑on, troubleshoot issues, educate customers on features, and maintain safety standards. A high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong problem‑solving skills are required, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with computer hardware, software, and network diagnostics.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Self-directed with solid time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to safely operate a company fleet vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Install low-voltage wiring and mount devices according to site layouts and routing plans.
• Perform site assessments, system testing, and verify connections including monitoring center communication.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and flag defective materials or job inaccuracies that affect service quality.
• Educate customers on system features, usage, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and follow all safety protocols.
