Job summary

NRG Energy, through its Vivint Smart Home subsidiary, seeks a Field Service Professional to install and service smart home technology while proactively selling upgraded solutions. The role combines technical work with on-site customer engagement and revenue growth across a national footprint.

You will install security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems, while educating customers on usage and benefits. A strong sales mindset and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to act with integrity while building rapport with diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Consultative sales: evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Customer education: train homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth: receive coaching and leadership training to move up within the national organization.
