Job summary

NRG Energy, via its Vivint Smart Home subsidiary, seeks a Field Service Professional to install and service smart home systems in customers’ homes. You will combine technical work with consultative selling to upgrade solutions and ensure customer peace of mind.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, or service-based sales is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Technical install/troubleshooting background helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home equipment on customer sites.
• Educate customers on using new systems and features.
• Identify upgrade opportunities and sell equipment/services on-site.
