NRG Energy, Inc. through its Vivint Smart Home brand is seeking a Field Service Technician/Professional to install smart home technology and identify upgrade opportunities at customers' homes.

You will be the face of the company, delivering technical support while selling additional solutions to enhance home security and automation. The role emphasizes a sales mindset, customer-first approach, and technical aptitude, with ongoing coaching and the potential to advance within a national

Qualifications

Sales experience in retail, B2C, or service-based contexts is a plus.
Customer-focused attitude with ability to build rapport.
Technical background in installations or service-based roles is helpful but not required.
Valid driver's license with good driving record; pass background/licensing checks.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
Educate homeowners on using the new system to protect their families.
Grow through coaching and leadership opportunities within the national organization.
