Job summary

EchoStar is hiring a Field Technician to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes. You’ll educate customers on using their tech and help them get the most from our services while representing a professional, friendly image.

You’ll travel to residential locations, work independently yet stay connected with the team, and participate in a comprehensive paid training program with clear progression and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
• Schedule flexibility to travel; may include evenings, weekends or holidays.
• Physical ability to climb ladders up to 40 ft, lift up to 70 lbs, and meet a 335 lb weight limit.
• Customer focus and ability to build trust and provide great service.
• Strong problem-solving and determination to work in tight spaces and varying conditions.
• Adaptability to handle changes and unexpected tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes.
• Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful.
• Keep a clean work area and maintain a professional attitude while working independently but staying connected with the team.
