Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG-owned company, is hiring a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service smart home technology. You will be the face of Vivint, combining technical work with on-site sales to upgrade systems and protect customers’ homes.

The role offers a competitive hourly base pay plus uncapped commissions, a take-home company vehicle and gas card, paid training, and a 4/10 workweek with 10 holidays and PTO.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C or service-based sales is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Technical aptitude for home automation devices is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home equipment.
• Evaluate homes to recommend upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Educate customers on system use to protect their families.
• Grow through coaching and leadership development within the national organization.
