Job summary

Vivint Smart Home is seeking a Field Service Technician/Professional to install and service smart home technology while identifying upgrades. The role combines technical work with on-site sales to provide customers with peace of mind. A take-home vehicle and ongoing coaching support are provided as part of a national team.

You will engage in technically installing devices, evaluating homes for upgrades, and training homeowners on system use, with growth opportunities across the organization.

Qualifications

Sales experience in retail, B2C, insurance, or service-based sales is a plus.
Strong customer relationship skills and integrity in interactions.
Technical install experience in home security, automation, or related fields is helpful but not required.
Must pass post-offer background check and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and troubleshoot smart home devices (cameras, locks, automation).
On-site consultative selling of upgrades or service enhancements.
Educate customers on system use to ensure safety and satisfaction.
Pursue coaching and growth opportunities within the national organization.
