Job summary

EchoStar is seeking a field technician to install and service DISH equipment and smart home products at customers’ homes. You will visit customers, troubleshoot, and explain how to use new technology, delivering excellent service.

The role includes paid training, benefits, and opportunities for career growth, with a company van and tools provided and shifts that may include evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license to drive company vehicle to customer sites and offices.
• Willingness to travel; shifts may include evenings, weekends or holidays.
• Physical ability including climbing ladders up to 40 ft and lifting up to 70 lbs; weight limit 335 lbs.
• Customer focus; problem-solving; determination; adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Install and service DISH equipment and smart home products in customers’ homes.
• Teach customers how to use their tech and offer additional services when helpful.
• Keep a clean work area and stay professional while working independently but connected with the team.
