Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG-owned company, is seeking Field Service Technicians to install cutting-edge smart home technology and proactively identify upgraded solutions for customers. You will be the face of Vivint, delivering smart home experiences and protecting customers’ peace of mind.

The role blends technical installation with sales opportunities, offering paid training, a take-home company vehicle, and a 4/10 work schedule including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a major plus.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers and act with integrity.
• Technical background in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction, or solar is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Growth via coaching and leadership training to advance within the national organization.
