Job summary

Vivint Smart Home in the United States is seeking a Field Service Technician/Professional to install cutting-edge smart home technology and proactively identify upgrade opportunities on-site.

In this role you’ll be the face of Vivint, combining technical installation with consultative sales to provide customers with total peace of mind. A hands-on career with training, a take-home vehicle, and earning potential through commissions.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail or B2C is a strong advantage.
• Strong customer rapport and trust.
• Technical aptitude in telecom, cable or solar helpful but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record; pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Train homeowners on how to use their new system to protect their families.
• Pursue growth through coaching and leadership training within our national organization.
