Job summary

Vivint is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and upsell smart home solutions at customer sites. You will evaluate homes, recommend upgrades, and train homeowners on system use to ensure safety and peace of mind.

Ideal candidates bring a sales mindset, strong customer focus, and technical aptitude. A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel support a nationwide role.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or B2C sales is a strong advantage.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse customers.
• Technical reliability in field service contexts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation on customer sites.
• Evaluate homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Educate homeowners on system use to maximize protection and value.
• Pursue coaching and leadership development to advance within the national organization.
