Job summary

Vivint is hiring Field Service Technicians to install and service smart home technology, while identifying upgraded solutions for customers at their homes. You will be the face of Vivint, combining technical work with consultative selling to drive customer peace of mind.

The role includes extensive training, a driver’s license requirement, and opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized team.

Qualifications

• A Sales Mindset: Experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service-based sales is a strong advantage.
• Customer-First Attitude: Ability to act with integrity while building rapport and trust with diverse customers.
• Technical Aptitude: Experience in cable or satellite installation, pest control, construction, or solar industries is helpful but not required.
• Requirements: A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record; pass post-offer background screening and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and troubleshooting security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluating customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Training homeowners on how to use their new system to help protect their families.
• Benefiting from consistent coaching and leadership training to advance within our national organization.
