Job summary

Vivint Smart Home, an NRG-owned company, is a leading smart home provider in the United States. The Field Service Technician/Professional role combines technical installation with on-site consultative sales, helping customers improve home security and automation while delivering peace of mind.

You will install cutting-edge smart home technology, assess customer homes for upgrades, and educate homeowners on using their new system.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in retail, B2C, insurance or service-based sales is a plus.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Experience in cable/satellite install, pest control, construction or solar is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record; pass licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Evaluate customer homes to recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements on-site.
• Train homeowners on using their new system to protect their families.
• Pursue growth through coaching and leadership opportunities within the national organization.
