Job summary

NRG Energy, through Vivint Smart Home, seeks a Smart Home Expert to meet customers in homes, retail locations, and events to recommend personalized smart home solutions and close sales.

You will install, service and educate customers on their systems, while representing Vivint professionally in the field. A valid driver's license and a sales mindset are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Sales mindset with ability to build trust and close deals.
• Willingness to learn and apply smart home technology.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass post-offer background and licensing requirements as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Meeting customers in homes, retail locations and events.
• Recommending personalized smart home, security and automation solutions.
• Generating leads, following up with prospects and closing sales.
• Installing, servicing and troubleshooting Vivint smart home equipment.
• Educating customers on how to use their system.
• Representing Vivint professionally in the field and in communities.
