Siemens in Alliance, Texas seeks an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Manager to lead automation and digitalization of switchboard production. You will drive smart manufacturing, MES integration, and data-driven improvements across fabrication, assembly, testing, and final integration.

The role requires leading cross‑functional teams, advancing industry 4.0 initiatives, and delivering safety, quality, and cost improvements while managing change and capability development on the shop floor.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
8–12+ years of experience in manufacturing with switchboard production or automation.
Experience implementing MES/ERP/PLM and digital work instructions.
Strong knowledge of lean methods and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and deployment of automated manufacturing solutions for switchboard production.
Identify robotics, cobots, vision systems, and smart tooling to improve throughput and safety.
Standardize processes for scalable automation across product families.
Drive digital transformation with MES, real-time dashboards, and operator guidance.
Lead industrialization of new products and configurations, optimizing factory layouts.
Own cost reduction, productivity, and quality improvement initiatives.
Develop and mentor a team of manufacturing and automation engineers.
Ensure safety, compliance, and alignment with industry standards.
