Siemens Mobility in Fort Worth Alliance, TX is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Manager – Automation & Digitalization to lead switchboard production through automation and digital tools. You will drive smart factory initiatives, standardize processes, and integrate shop-floor systems with ERP/PLM to improve safety, quality, and throughput.

You will mentor a team of manufacturing and automation engineers, champion change, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering cost-effective solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 8–12+ years of experience in manufacturing, with exposure to electrical switchboard manufacturing, automation, robotics, and digitalization.
• Experience implementing MES, digital work instructions, or smart factory solutions.
• Strong understanding of switchboard production processes (fabrication, assembly, wiring, testing).
• Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage transformational change.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of automated manufacturing solutions for switchboard production.
• Identify and implement robotics, cobots, vision systems, and smart tooling to improve throughput, ergonomics, and safety.
• Standardize manufacturing processes to enable scalable automation across product families.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives (MES, digital work instructions) and integrate shop-floor systems with ERP/PLM/quality systems.
• Lead data-driven manufacturing improvements using analytics, OEE, and predictive insights.
• Collaborate with product design to ensure manufacturability and automation.
• Industrialize new products, variants, and configurations while optimizing layout, takt time, and material flow.
• Lead cost-reduction, productivity, and quality initiatives.
• Develop digital skills within the operations team.
