Job summary

Siemens in the Cleveland area is offering a Smart Buildings Automation Solutions & Service Sales Internship for Summer 2027. The 10-week program rotates through building automation, service sales, and related teams, with start dates in May or June 2027.

You will work full-time, 40 hours per week, at our Garfield Heights area office and gain hands-on experience in sales engineering and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be current enrolled as an undergraduate at a 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Majors include Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week for the 10-week program.
• No relocation assistance or housing stipend provided; must work at the branch office and surrounding area.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Position Siemens as an industry leader among service providers and deliver digital service value.
• Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
• Help prospect for new customers and engage with existing customers on new offerings.
• Visit customer sites with Solutions and Services Sales Teams.
• Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
• Work with finance, legal and other resources to obtain the sale.
