Job summary

Siemens Building Automation internship in the Chicago area offers a 10-week, full-time program focused on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure. You will rotate through departments, supporting the sales team with lead generation, proposals, and CRM data management.

Ideal candidates are undergraduate students from engineering or business majors, available for May–July or June–August 2027, and authorized to work in the U.S. The program includes an hourly wage and a 401K option.

Qualifications

• Must be current undergraduate student at a 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Majors: Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related fields; Business Administration acceptable.
• Available for the 10-week program, 40 hours per week during Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Sales Managers and Sales Executives within the local branch office.
• Assist the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, and account outreach.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Help manage CRM data by tracking leads and maintaining data accuracy.
• Shadow sales calls and meetings to learn effective sales techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer engagement.
• Analyze sales performance data and provide insights for growth.
• Rotate through core business segments including Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, Security and Energy/Sustainability.
