Job summary

Siemens Building Automation Internship in the Los Angeles area invites undergrads to a 10‑week program rotating through departments focused on smart buildings and sustainable infrastructure. You will work 40 hours per week at our Cypress, CA office, gaining hands‑on experience, problem solving, and exposure to real projects in a collaborative team environment.

Starting May 17, May 24, June 7 or June 14, 2027, the program emphasizes learning by shadowing sales teams, assisting with lead

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate enrollment in a 4-year US college.
• Majors listed include Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Eng, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration.
• Participation in school sales clubs or similar is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Sales Managers and Sales Executives within the local branch office.
• Assist the sales team with lead generation, prospecting, and account outreach.
• Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Help manage CRM data by tracking leads and maintaining data accuracy.
• Shadow sales calls and meetings to learn effective sales techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer engagement.
• Analyze sales performance data and provide insights into growth.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales processes.
• Rotate through core business segments: Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, Security and Energy/Sustainability Systems.
