Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites motivated undergraduates to join the Building Automation Solutions Sales Internship for Summer 2027 in the Los Angeles area. You will rotate through branches, learn building automation concepts, and support the sales team with lead generation, proposals, and CRM data management.

The program emphasizes hands-on learning, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and exposure to Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, Security, and Energy/Sustainability systems.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate at a 4-year U.S. college or university.
• Majors include Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Energy/Sustainability, Built Environment, Construction Management or Business Administration, Sales/Marketing.
• Preferred: participation in a school-sponsored sales/engineering club or certificate program.
• Earliest Graduation Date: December 2027.
• Availability: 40 hours per week for the 10-week program.
• Relocation: No relocation assistance or housing stipend provided.
• Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Position Siemens as an industry leader among service providers through digital service delivery.
• Collaborate with operations and internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
• Help prospect for new customers and engage with existing customers on new offerings.
• Visit customer sites with Solutions and Services Sales Teams.
• Develop value-based proposals, estimates, specifications, and presentations.
• Work with internal resources to obtain the sale and support the sales process.
