Job summary

Johnson Controls in Milwaukee is seeking a Project Manager to plan and lead the next generation of Smart Building products, helping customers manage energy usage, security, and operating costs.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Manufacturing to develop scope, schedule, cost, and risk, driving successful launches across software and hardware. Requires deep PM experience in multi-disciplinary teams and a results-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven project management experience, preferably in complex, multi-disciplinary programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Manufacturing to define project scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, risk and launch of new products.
• Develop and follow a Project Management Plan; set goals, plan deliverables, establish schedules and milestones; manage risk and quality.
• Meticulous planning and execution to meet key milestone dates; ensure on-budget and on-spec delivery.
