Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the next generation of smart building products. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across software and hardware developments, manage schedules, costs, and risks, and drive projects from concept through deployment.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of PM experience, PMP and Scrum Master certifications, and a proven track record of delivering complex programs in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• MS or MBA preferred.
• PMP and Scrum Master certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Manufacturing to define scope, schedule, cost, and quality for new products.
• Develop and follow a Project Management Plan with clear milestones and risk management.
• Meticulous planning and tracking to meet all milestone dates.
• Ensure projects are delivered on budget, on product cost, on schedule, and on quality.
