Job Overview

Senior Project Manager – Building Automation & Controls

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead projects that define, develop, and deliver next generation Smart Building Products to help customers manage energy usage, security, and operating costs.
• Direct project activities including schedule, scope, risk, and cost management.
• Utilize project management methodologies and create/maintain Project Management Plans, schedules, milestones, and risk documentation.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams to develop scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, and risk plans.
• Ensure projects meet 4 ONs: On Budget, On Product Cost, On Schedule & On Quality.
• Lead geographically dispersed project teams, coordinate cross‑functional activities, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Manage multiple complex projects from concept through requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment, following NPI processes.
• Execute risk mitigation strategies and contingency planning, while aligning with larger business objectives.
• Collaborate with other PMs, Program Managers, and Engineering Managers to coordinate efforts and leverage best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical field; MS or MBA preferred.
• 8–12 years of direct experience as a Project Manager.
• PMP and Scrum Master certifications required.
• Experience managing cross‑functional project teams from initiation to market launch of Software/Hardware development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies, and hands‑on experience with Microsoft Project and Jira.
• Strong analytical, logical, and project management skills; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proven ability to manage multiple changing priorities, coordinate activities across teams, and influence without formal authority.

Compensation

Salary range: $140,000 – $170,000. Bonus plan and competitive benefits package included.
