Job summary

Altura, LLC is seeking an Energy and Commissioning Engineer to lead diverse energy projects and monitoring-based commissioning for new and existing buildings. The role supports SkySpark driven analysis, field audits, and energy improvement measures across Southern California, with Irvine as the preferred base.

The ideal candidate brings 3–10+ years in engineering (MEP and controls), strong analytical capability, mentoring skills, and the ability to translate energy performance into business

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years in engineering field (mechanical preferred) including building energy engineering (MEP and controls).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills in energy and commissioning performance.
• Experience linking energy and environmental indicators to business financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple energy and commissioning projects, including client interface, team coordination, schedule and budget management.
• Perform field work: site audits, testing, troubleshooting, energy improvement measures.
• Execute testing to verify energy performance; analyze and develop energy savings measures; support M&V and data analytics.
• Travel to sites for field work as needed.
