Candidates should have a growth mindset and be willing to learn new skills in building engineering, analytics and control systems. Our ideal candidate will have experience managing commissioning projects for both new construction *and* existing buildings (including retro-commissioning, monitoring-based commissioning, and energy audits). The successful candidate will have the ability to quickly assume ownership of projects and perform with minimal oversight. The preferred location for this position is in Altura’s Irvine offices; however, other Southern California remote locations will be considered. ## Scope & Responsibilities:* Manage multiple clients, projects, including direct management of multiple, diverse energy and commissioning projects for new construction and existing buildings, including client interface, team coordination, business development and schedule & budget management* Perform field work including site audits, systems testing in both existing and new construction context, systems troubleshooting, and development of energy improvement measures* Oversee and execute testing protocols to verify the operating energy performance of building systems as part of the overall commissioning process* Perform technical analysis necessary to support development and verification of energy savings for buildings and organizations* Leverage data analytics to support energy engineering and commissioning processes* Interface with our industry through conferences, publications, online communities, etc to influence our best practices and help move the industry forward* Lead and run new construction and existing building energy and commissioning projects or support significant portions of projects with minimal task level oversight.
