Altura is a professional services firm focusing on energy, environmental, and financial performance. We seek a Senior Energy and Commissioning Engineer to manage energy and commissioning projects for new construction and existing buildings at scale.

The successful candidate will lead field work, data analytics, and energy savings verification, leveraging SkySpark and analytics tools. Office options include Irvine or Oakland, with hybrid/remote consideration within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in mechanical/MEP energy engineering and commissioning.
• 5+ years in project management and client leadership.
• Strong analytical and writing skills; experience with energy & financial metrics.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple clients and projects for new construction and existing buildings, including client interface and budget management.
• Perform field work with site audits, testing, troubleshooting, and energy-measure development.
• Oversee testing protocols to verify energy performance within the commissioning process.
• Lead and run energy and commissioning projects, with occasional travel to sites.
